Not for the players or the viewers, but Lalit Modi appears to believe that targeting Sanjiv Goenka helps brew controversy and keep IPL ratings high. He made these remarks in a podcast with ANI this morning. He also recently spoke about leaking personal news about a South African player in the past to create controversy and boost viewership. Do you think faking narratives and generating hatred around a player or an owner to drive IPL ratings is justified? And openly admitting to it?
